Pool rules

Proper swim attire-bathing suits, board shorts, or swim trunks appropriate for a family-friendly environment are required. No street clothes are allowed in the water unless approved by management.
All users must shower before entering the pools.
Personal instruction is only permitted by Apex Park and Recreation District staff.
Lockers may not be used overnight; they are for day use only. If locks are left on lockers, they will be cut off, and the belongings will be placed in lost and found.
Portions of all pools may be closed periodically for swimming lessons or special events.
All guests must pay an admission fee.
Running, sliding on railways, dunking, water fights and other horseplay are prohibited.
No glass containers.
Food and gum are not allowed in the water.
The possession or use of alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, tobacco, marijuana or weapons is prohibited on all Apex PRD property. Any person that appears to have partaken of alcoholic beverages, marijuana or illegal substances will not be permitted on Apex PRD property.
Swim diapers are required for any guests who are diaper-dependent. Regular diapers are not allowed in the pools.
All exercise equipment is for adult use and fitness classes only. Please return the equipment to the proper bins when finished.
Only US Coast Guard-approved life jackets are allowed. Any person wearing a life jacket must be within the arms’ reach of an adult at all times.
Swimming under bulkheads is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the facility.
Diving off starting blocks or bulkheads is strictly prohibited unless supervised by coaching staff approved by management.
Lap lanes are for lap swimming only. When lap swimmers are waiting for a lane, other water exercises should be performed in the open space outside of the lap lanes.
Coaches and athletes are prohibited from practicing prolonged breath-holding drills and exercises.
No hanging on or swimming over the lane ropes.
No swimming in the diving area when boards or platforms are in use.
All users of the diving boards and platforms must be supervised by an authorized coach or representative.
Only one person is allowed on a diving board at a time.
Running and excessive bouncing are prohibited.
No hanging from the diving boards or platforms.
Divers must jump or dive straight off the end of the boards or platforms. Diving to the side of the boards or platforms is prohibited.
Divers must exit the water at the nearest ladder after diving.
Divers must wait until the previous diver has surfaced and cleared the area before the next diver begins.
Flotation devices and goggles are prohibited when using diving boards or platforms.

Pool rules

Children under the age of 3 are required to wear a swim diaper and/or tight-fitting plastic pants under their swimsuits. No regular diapers allowed in the pools.
Children ages 5 and under must be accompanied into the water by an adult (18+) within arm’s reach.
Children ages 6-9 must be appropriately supervised by an adult in the pool area. Children ages 10 and older may swim without adult supervision.
Non-swimmers of any age must be supervised by an adult.
Portions of all pools may be closed periodically for swim lessons or special events.
Please note that a full head and body shower must be taken before entering the pool.
Outdoor pools and splash pads will not open unless the projected high temperature for the day is 65 degrees or above, as forecasted by WeatherBug.
Safety is our priority. The pool must be cleared when lightning or severe weather is in the immediate area. The facility will reopen 30 minutes after the last sighting of lightning, if sufficient time remains in the day.
Refunds will not be given due to inclement weather.
No refunds, regardless of arrival time. Please consider the weather before choosing to swim and pay for admission.
As a reminder, there is no open swim during swim lesson times. Non-swim lesson participants are not allowed in the water during swim lessons.
No glass, alcohol or tobacco use is allowed on the pool deck or in district facilities.

All swimmers must shower before entering the pool area.
Children five years and younger are NOT allowed in the hot tub.
Everyone wishing to enter the pool must pay admission fees. Children five years and younger must be accompanied into the water by a paying guardian 14 years or older and must remain within arms reach at all times. Children 6-8 years must be accompanied into the pool area by someone 12 years or older.
Diving is allowed in designated areas only. No diving is allowed in water less than five feet deep.
No running, dunking or excessive horseplay. No spins, flips or going backwards from the side of the pool.
No glass is allowed in the pool area or locker rooms.
No smoking, vaping, food, gum or candy allowed in the pool area or locker rooms. Water is permitted in the pool area. No alcohol or other beverages allowed.
Instructions of the lifeguard must be obeyed. If they see unsafe actions, they will address it, even if the action is not listed here.
For the safety of yourself and others please DO NOT use the pool or hot tub if you have a cold, diarrhea, excessive sunburn or unhealed abrasions.
All swimmers must wear appropriate swim attire. Swim diapers are required for all toddlers and must be checked and changed often. Inappropriate swimwear such as street clothes and cut-off shorts will not be permitted.
Adult Lap time is for individuals 15 years and older. Those under the age of 15 must apply for approval to swim during Adult Lap times by contacting an Aquatics Specialist.
No under water breath holding is allowed at any time.
Adults may NOT use the slide with their children or catch children at the bottom of the slides.
Youth ages 6-17 must be in a floatation tube while in the Lazy River.
Toys are permitted at the discretion of the manager on duty. Footballs are not allowed.
