Pool rules
- Do bring: Swimsuit, Towel, Sunscreen, Water in a re-sealable plastic container, Inflatable toys (only allowed in 5 ft of water or less), Entry ticket or cash/card to pay entry fee
- Do NOT bring: Coolers, ice chests, or thermal bags; Food; Pets; Glass; Frisbees, footballs, soccer balls or other hard balls; Portable speakers; Tobacco – smoking of any kind is not allowed; Alcohol; Fishing gear of any kind.
- Anyone seen smoking or with an open container of alcohol will be asked to leave or denied entry.

Good to know
- Starting May 30, 2024, Barton Springs Pool cash entries and kiosk purchases are currently made at the Zilker Cafe building. Entry will be east of the Joan Means Khabele Bathhouse until construction is complete.
- Aquatic Division facilities will close if the air temperature on the pool deck is at or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Pools will re-open once the air temperature is above 32 degrees. Barton Springs will observe swim at your own risk during operational hours below 32 degrees.
- Entry fees are charged beginning during Austin Independent School District Spring Break through the end of October.
- Season passes are valid through October 31 during the season purchased.
- Parking: Monday through Friday free; Weekends and holidays, March 1 - Labor Day: $3 per hour per vehicle.
- Season passes include parking at Zilker Park; Zilker Park charges for parking on Holidays and Weekends, Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- Ticket kiosks accept credit/debit cards or exact currency.
- Groups or organizations bringing 6 or more people for a one-time visit must complete a one-day visit form.
